Where joy and hope have gone?

…What has become of the America we admired in our youth?

…The magical land of freedom, joy, youthful spirit, music, fun, parties, glittering universities, seamless careers, meritocracy, inventiveness, and technological progress?

The technology that provided answers and solved economic and social problems?

And, above all, where has the land of optimism gone, the country where everyone believed their children would live better lives than they did, that society was always moving toward something better and more abundant?

…Man, what the hell happened to change most of that?

And most importantly, why has the psychology of people in America changed so much, and why aren’t they happy anymore?

Why are so many people disappointed, unhappy, and addicted to drugs?

Why do tens of millions of people need to take fentanyl and oxycodone just to stay upright and not be in pain?

Why have so many homeless people flooded the streets, living in tents, cars, and RVs because they can’t afford rent even though they’re working?

The other day, someone said in a personal confession on YouTube that she earns ten thousand dollars a month and has nothing left because she pays four and a half thousand dollars for a studio apartment in California.

And loans. Debts.

People drowning in debt…

…whether from student loans or illnesses not covered by insurance.

The easiest way to become homeless in America is to get sick.

…And not even from some serious illness:

For example, if you break your leg and have surgery, and you don’t have good insurance coverage, you lose your job and end up with an unbearable hospital debt.

If you have complications and need extended hospitalization or intensive care, you’re in deep trouble.

Of course, I must admit I’ve seen this scenario in Greece too. Once, I happened to talk with a homeless man who was begging, and he seemed a bit different from the others.

Turns out he was a waiter who broke his leg and then had a long recovery period…

…and he couldn’t work with a sensitive, painful leg.

In the end, he became homeless, unemployed, and hungry.

It doesn’t take much.

Back to America, where joy has abandoned people.

…And hope, too.

I see the same thing in Greece.

And unfortunately, our deranged leaders and the ruling classes in general, and the very big bosses behind them all, have an unbelievable inhumanity.

It’s as if they want to wipe out a large part of the global population.

I think there’s something demonic behind all this.

From where those satanic figures popped up at the Paris Olympics.

That’s who they worship.

I don’t know… Maybe I’ve grown old, and conspiracy theories are starting to take root in my mind.

I hope that’s the case.

I hope it’s all in my head.

Because the reality is nightmarish.
